This year, we have partnered with Ascend Speech and Debate to provide bills for this year's tournament. We are grateful for their work.

Bid Level: Top 16 (New for 2021)

Here is how we determined bids for 2021: 

For Open Congress: We are a top-16 TOC bid tournament in Student Congress The top 5 students from each preliminary room will advance to the semifinal round. The top 4 students from each semifinal round will advance to each final round. The 5th place competitor from each semifinal room will receive a TOC bid while not advancing to the final round in Student Congress. Lastly, the 6th place student who has the best rankings based on the tournament tiebreakers will receive the 16th bid to the TOC in Congress.

Saturday (9/18) (Middle School Congress)

8:15 AM         Judge and Parliamentarian Training

8:45 AM         Parliamentarian Call

9:00 AM         Judge Call for Preliminary Rounds (Mandatory for All Congress Judges)

9:00 AM         Students Report to Chambers for their Technology Check and Pre-round Discussions

9:30 AM         Complete Judge Call

9:45 AM         Round 1 Begins (until 11:45 AM)

1:15 PM          Round 2 Begins (until 3:15 PM)

4:45 PM          Final Round (until 6:45 PM)

Saturday (9/18) (Open Congress)

8:15 AM         Judge and Parliamentarian Training

8:45 AM         Parliamentarian Call
