Rules of Thumb:

• This is a group event. You will be watching 7+ people at a time.

• Mock Congress- speakers will try to pass/fail specific legislation

• Watch for people who speak often and well, ask lots of questions, and are very persuasive

• Each speech given will be judged. So make sure you are taking notes on each speech!

• ***Another thing to watch out for are those who do NOTHING. If you have someone who didn’t speak but asked 2 questions, they would rank higher than someone who didn’t speak at all.***

• Ultimately you will rank students from 1-best to the last #-needs the most improvement. You are the judge! So you get to decide! :)
