Event Description:
Limit 2 Multiples per school.Multiple Reading: This event requires the use of a manuscript. There is a minimum of 3 people, and a maximum of 10. The material may be from a play, book, film, or poetry and must be found in printed literature (i.e. cannot be original). The cutting is usually structured around a cohesive scene or story line: it has a definite beginning, middle, and end. The students may use vocal skills, facial expressions, and/or hand gestures to develop a narrator and characters. Multiple characters are allowed. Each group may use a maximum of four stools (but the schools must provide their own stools.) Time: 10 minute maximum (including introduction) - no minimum; 30 second grace. The winning multiple will perform after the winning multiple is announced in the awards ceremony.
