Event Description:
a dialogue between two characters (from prose fiction or non-fiction or from a play) delivered by two performers from manuscripts using no props or costumes. Students should each embody a single character in stance, gesture, facial expression and vocal quality, striving for natural, realistic and believable portrayals. Offstage focus is to be maintained throughout, and platform movement is to be limited to simple turning or pivoting. Both students should participate in the presentation of brief introductory remarks that set the scene, identify characters, and indicate the work’s title and author. Maximum time 7 minutes.
