NIETOC Bid Information

In HI, DI, DUO, Duet, OO, INFO, POI, students will earn one bid towards qualification to the 2019 NIETOC according to the formula below. Note that in Duo and Duet, the number of "contestants" is 2 times the number of entries. See the NIETOC web site for full information about qualification: http://nietoc.com/full-details

a) 0-19 contestants: FIRST PLACE bid
b) 20-34 contestants: TOP THREE bid
c) 35-50 contestants: ALL FINALISTS bid
d) 51-70 contestants: ALL SEMIFINALISTS bid
e) 71-99 contestants: ALL QUARTERFINALISTS bid
f) 100+ contestants: ALL OCTAFINALISTS bid

Note that if we reach 71 or more contestants in a NIETOC event, we will not add any time to the tournament, but 24 or 48 entries will advance to the "semifinal" round in that case.
