Judge Info

Speech: Teams must bring one judge for every six speech entries, or fraction thereof. Each missing speech judge will cost $30. Speech judges may also be entered as Congress judges. Tabroom.com will allow you to enter each judge in both speech and congress judge categories. A dropped speech judge will cost $50 (a dropped speech judge who is cross-entered in congress will cost $75).

Congress: Teams with congress entries will be required to provide at least one congress judge per six entries, or fraction thereof. Judges may be cross entered in speech and will count toward your total speech judge quota as well. Each missing congress judge will cost $30. Please indicate all of your adults who can judge congress by cross-entering them in both speech and congress judge categories. A dropped Congress judge will cost $50 (a dropped congress judge who is cross-entered in speech will cost $75).

Debate: Teams must bring one debate judge per two debate entries, or fraction thereof. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR DEBATE JUDGES CAN JUDGE BOTH LD AND PFD. Debate judges cannot be cross-entered to judge anything else. There will not be extra debate judges on hand. You must either bring enough judges to fill your quota or reduce your debate entry. A dropped debate judge will cost $75.

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE SPEECH JUDGES WHO CAN AND ARE WILLING JUDGE DEBATE EVENTS, PLEASE INDICATE AS SUCH IN THE NOTES FIELD FOR THAT JUDGE WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR JUDGE ENTRY. IF YOU ARE NOT COMPETING IN DEBATE, EVERY JUDGE YOU PROVIDE WHO CAN JUDGE DEBATE WILL COUNT AS TWO SPEECH JUDGES FOR YOUR SPEECH QUOTA.
