Prelim round prepared motion (debaters will debate both sides in consecutive prelim rounds): This house would ban collateral consequences for criminal convictions.

Slide: Collateral consequences for criminal convictions refers to the social disability incurred by an individual once they have been convicted of a crime. Though each country, state, or local municipality differs in what types of consequences a convicted felon might face, they could include (but not limited to): disqualification from student loans, being required to disclose your conviction on job, housing, or education applications, registering your conviction with a local municipality, loss of voting rights, freedom of movement, Internet access, etc. Convicted felons may face these collateral consequences whether or not they serve time or pay any fine.

Elim round motion (Semifinals): This house would ban college football.
