Event Description:
From a manuscript, three to ten performers present material from a play, book, film, or poetry. The materials must be found in printed literature (i.e. cannot be original). The cutting should be structured around a cohesive scene or story line - with a definite beginning, middle and end. The students may use vocal skills, facial expressions, and/or hand gestures to develop narrators and characters. Multiple characters are allowed. Groups may bring up to four stools (of their own) for staging. (10 minutes)
