Event Description:
10 minute speech delivered by a single competitor which is authored by the competitor. Scripts and bibliographies must be available upon request and must align with the piece information entered into tabroom at the time of registration. No visual aids permitted. 30 second grace period for going over the 10 minute mark. If the time of the speech is over the grace period, the competitor must not be ranked 1st in the section. Competitors may not time themselves, but may ask and receive time signals from judges.
