Event Description:

This track is intended for students who have at least one year of debate experience and plan to pursue Public Forum debate this year.

Tech Tutorial
In this tutorial, debaters will learn about the norms, standards, and expectations of evidence, speech documents, and document sharing. Students will learn how to operate the Verbatim software, which is a tool that helps organize arguments and evidence. Verbatim significantly speeds up the research process, as well as the process of constructing speech and evidence documents during a debate.
Scrimmage Debate Round 1
Public Forum students will participate in a scrimmage debate against students from another school. Students who register for Intermediate PF should be prepared to debate when they arrive.
Scrimmage Debate Round 2
Public Forum students will participate in a scrimmage debate against students from another school. Students who register for Intermediate PF should be prepared to debate when they arrive.
