Event Description:
This track is intended for students who have at least one year of debate experience and plan to pursue Policy or Lincoln-Douglas debate this year.
| Tech Tutorial |
| In this tutorial, debaters will learn about the norms, standards, and expectations of evidence, speech documents, and document sharing. Students will learn how to operate the Verbatim software, which is a tool that helps organise arguments and evidence. Verbatim significantly speeds up the research process, as well as the process of constructing speech and evidence documents during a debate. |

| Critical Arguments |
| Critical Arguments, or "Kritiks" are arguments that test the underlying assumptions of an affirmative. These strategies typically only appear in Policy and LD debate at the intermediate and advanced levels, and students will learn about the format and structure of these arguments. |
