Event Description:
Students will write and present a ten minute speech on a topic of their choosing. If the speech is a little under or over the ten minute mark it is up to the judge to determine if that should affect their score. The speech should be educational, not advocating for a specific issue. Students may use some sort of visual aid within their speech. Students should be judged on how informative their speech is, their speaking ability, as well as their ability to engage their judge.
