Individual Events Judge - $75
Uncovered debate entries cannot be accepted. 

Registration will be open until 5:00 pm on Weds. Jan. 15. Fees will be assessed at that time. Any changes should then be e-mailed to ashley.griese@k12.sd.us or amanda.nelson@k12.sd.us

Sweepstakes and Awards

The name of the tournament will be reflected in the silver bowls, plates, ribbons, and medals presented at the contest’s conclusion.  Sweepstakes will be presented to the top 3 AA schools and the top 3 A schools.  To be eligible, indicate on the website your schools classification. 

Formula:

Varsity, JV, and Novice Policy-best two teams in each division, 5 points per preliminary round win.

Varsity, JV, and Novice Public Forum-best two teams in each division, 5 points per preliminary round win.

Varsity , JV, and Novice Lincoln Douglas-best two debaters in each division, 5 points per preliminary round win.

Individual events-only finalists count.  15 for 1^st, 12 for 2^nd, 10 for 3^rd, 5 for 4^th, 2 for 5^th and 6^th.

Performance Award

Presented to the student with the best performance in varsity debate and a varsity individual event.  Ties will be broken based individual speaker ranking within the debate event.
