Transportation

The recommended way of getting to Bard Queens High School from other locations in New York City is via the metro (subway). The school is a 14-minute walk from the Queensboro Plaza station. Several bus lines have nearby stops as well.

Here is some info about parking provided by the school administration:

"BHSEC has no parking of its own. There are a few for-pay parking lots around--including one directly behind our building--but they fill up fast, and I can't guarantee they'll even be open at the hours visitors would need on weekends. Outside of those lots, the only parking is on the street, and most of it is heavily regulated (i.e., parking disallowed most of the time except for official vehicles), typically full, a long walk away, or some combination of all three. I'd strongly recommend that families get to us using transit."
