World Schools Schedule & Information

World Schools Debate

More information for the World Schools division will be coming soon. Here are some things we know.

For the MLK weekend, we will be choosing topics that are relevant to the issues of education and civil rights. Our public debate, which we would encourage everyone to stay for following the tournament on Monday afternoon/early evening, will focus on this same issue. Last year our event took place in front of a packed auditorium with expert and guest judges.

Since this is a new event in the US, I think we're all still figuring out optimal tournament scheduling. In the case of small entries, elimination rounds will clear no more than 2 teams from one school.

Entry fee: 50.00/team We are keeping entry fees very minimal for this event to try to encourage participation. We’d like to recover part of our costs for the meals and food we provide.

Hired judges: We will have judges available for hire at $150.00.
