8:00 AM: Debate Round 1 and Pattern A Round 1

9:30 AM: Debate Round 2, Pattern B Round 1, and Congress Round 1

11:00 AM: Debate Round 3, Pattern C Round 1, and Congress Round 2

1:00 PM: Pattern A Round 2 (Semis or 2nd Prelim)

2:30 PM: Pattern B Round 2 (Semis or 2nd Prelim), Debate Outround 1 (Quarters or Semis), and Congress Finals

4:00 PM: Pattern C Round 2 (Semis or 2nd Prelim) and Debate Outround 2 (Semis or Finals)

5:30 PM: Pattern A, B, C Finals and Debate Outround 3 (Finals, if needed)

7:15 PM Awards

Cross Entry Rules

Pattern A: Declamation, Duo, Extemporaneous Speaking, Prose, Lip Sync

Pattern B: Dramatic Interpretation, Impromptu Speaking, Original Oratory, Original Spoken Word Poetry

Pattern C: Humorous Interpretation, Informative Speaking, Poetry, Storytelling, Television Commercial

Pattern D: World Schools, Public Forum, Policy, and Lincoln Douglas

Pattern E: Congressional Debate

Students may cross-enter in up to two events in patterns A, B, and C (two events in A, two events in B, two events in C). Students who choose to enter patterns A, B, and/or C may not enter Pattern E. Students who choose to enter in only pattern A may choose to enter in Pattern E (Congressional Debate)

Students who enter in Debate may not enter another event.

Students who enter Congressional Debate may enter up to two events in Pattern A. They may not enter in Patterns B, C, or D.
