Grapevine Middle School Classic
Speech and Debate Tournament
Saturday, April 15, 2023
Grapevine High School is thrilled to offer a Middle School Speech and Debate Tournament on Saturday, April 15. The tournament will take place at Grapevine High School. The address is 3223 Mustang Drive, Grapevine TX 76051. We will offer all NSDA Middle School Events, plus Television Commerical and Lip Sync.
Speech and Debate develops crucial skills that will serve students the rest of their lives including public speaking, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, time management, and more! Students who participate in speech and debate are more likely to succeed academically, get admitted to notable college programs, and carry their learned confidence into the professional world.
Important Info
Students currently enrolled in Middle School may sign up to compete. Students are not required to be a part of a Middle School Debate program to compete. Students must be accompanied by a teacher or a parent for the entirety of the tournament.
Instructions for all events are attached and included on the sidebar menu on the right side of the screen (your right...not the computer's right).
Students will need to be registered by an adult through Tabroom. All students will need to have their own Tabroom account and be linked because ballots and postings will be shared through Tabroom. All ballots and round assignments will be electronic!
We are seeking judges! If you have high school students who would like to volunteer their time in exchange for service hours, please have them fill out this form.
