Deadlines and fees

Fees:
Main events - $8 per person per event
Supplemental events - $5 per person per event

Entry restrictions:
Students may enter up to 1 debate event (CX, LD, PF)
Students may enter up to 2 team speech events (Duo, DA)
However, students in debate may not enter Duo/DA (and vice versa)
Students may enter up to 2 individual speech events
Any student may enter Congress, regardless of how many other events they have entered
Any student may pre-register for one of the supplemental events (Extemp Commentary, Storytelling). However, only those who do not advance in any main event (not including Congress) may compete in a supplemental event (which begin on Saturday afternoon). Those students must re-register once the break lists in all events are out. Only students who pre-register are eligible to re-register.

Judge bond:
Each school is required to post a judge bond of $30 per judge slot owed. For example, if a school is required to bring 1 debate judge and 2 speech judges, they must post a bond of $90. The check for a judge bond MUST be a separate check than the one used to pay registration fees.

Checks should be payable to Louisiana High School Speech League (or LHSSL)

Deadlines:
All schools must have an initial entry by Friday, March 25 at 3 pm
Fees are frozen on Tuesday, March 29, at 3 pm. Drops after 3 pm on Tuesday are subject to loss of entry fee plus $8 per person per event.
Coaches may continue to process contestant drops and changes on tabroom until 3 pm on Wednesday. Drops after 3 pm on Wednesday must be made during "in person" registration on Wednesday (and drops after 3 pm on Wednesday are subject to loss of entry fee plus $16 per person per event)
Judges need to be entered by Thursday, March 31 at 12 pm
