Event Description:
Impromptu—(IMP). In this event, the student draws three topics and gets five minutes to prepare an extemporaneous speech. These topics will be drawn in the room, in front of the judge. No notes are allowed. Content: the speech should be clearly organized and responsive to the topic drawn. Delivery: The speaker should be relatively fluent, have good eye contact, and have appropriate gestures.
