Event Description:

Informative Speaking is an original, memorized speech designed to educate the audience about a topic of the speaker’s choice. Speeches are up to 10 minutes.

Memorization is required. Notes or notecards are NOT permitted. Visual aids may be used in accordance with tournament guidelines. Judges evaluate clarity, organization, depth of research, audience adaptation, and delivery.
