Speech: EXTEMPORANTOUS SPEAKING (Extemp)
This category may be split into International Extemp and Domestic Extemp or categories may be combined into Mixed Extemp. Students are presented with a choice of 3 questions related to national and international current events. The student has 30 minutes to prepare a 7-minute speech answering the selected question. (Students will go to “extemp prep” before they see the judge). 7 min. Speech to the judge.
