Event Description:

Informative Speaking is a 10-minute memorized event where students write a speech on a topic of their choosing. The speech should be informative in nature and well-supported with cited research. Students are also given the unique opportunity to use visual aids for this event. Students should be able to identify universal importance within their chosen topic. This event teaches research, presentation skills, and teaching tools. Manuscript must be available to the tournament director in the event of a protest.
