Worlds Schools Debate

Event Description:

Please review the 2023 USA World Schools Debate Invitational Manual.

Important things to remember while you are preparing:

1. No electronic devices, including laptops, are permitted in round (except cell phones in airplane mode that may be used for timing). Make sure any materials you need are printed. Use of the internet is not permitted in round or preparation for Impromptu debates.
2. Only an English language dictionary/bilingual dictionary and a single-volume encyclopedia or almanac can be brought into the preparation room for Impromptu debates. No laptops or cell phones may be used during preparation for Impromptu debates.
3. Only three team members may participate in any given debate round. Any additional team members who are not competing in the round are welcome to observe, but they must not communicate in any way with the competing team members.
