Public Forum Debate

Event Description:

Public Forum involves opposing teams of two, debating a topic concerning current events. Teams decide which side they are debating (PRO or CON) with a coin toss. This form of debate is meant to be the most accessible to the general public. Teams present pre-prepared cases, engage in “crossfires” during which they ask one another questions, and present rebuttals and refutations.

Resolution: The United States should enforce a maximum age limit for elected government officials.
