Event Description:
Short for "Spontaneous Argumentation," SPAR is an event that involves quick thinking and clash. The Affirmative speaker will be given the choice to pick the topic, both Aff and Neg will then have a moment of preparation time, before beginning their cycle of speeches. Research is not permitted during prep time. Notes are permitted.
Time allocation will be as follows: 2 minutes prep/1-2 minute constructive speeches for Aff and Neg/4 minutes cross-examination/1 minute rebuttal/closing speech for Aff and Neg.
