YG Elementary, Middle and High School 
Online Spontaneous Speech Tournament

Held on NSDA Campus

Saturday, May 28, 2022 • 8:00am to 5:30pm 

YG Bay Area Speech and Debate Academy is excited to provide this year-end opportunity of Elementary, Middle, and High School students to practice their spontaneous speaking skills.

This tournament will take place online via NSDA Campus.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

Please note: We have scheduled breaks in between each round for 30 minutes - and we strongly encourage students to get up from their computers to rest their eyes and stretch their legs for this time!

8:00 - 9:00 AM: Judging Instructions (Every judge must attend, as this is when we will check you in for the tournament - judges who miss this training will be fined $50)
9:00 - 9:30 AM: Welcome Assembly
9:30 - 10:45 AM: Round 1
10:45 - 11:15 AM: Break
11:15 AM - 12:30 PM: Round 2
12:30 - 1:00 PM: Break
1:00 - 2:15 PM: Round 3
2:15 - 3:00 PM: Break
3:00 - 4:15 PM: Final Round (Middle & High School students only
5:00 PM: Award Ceremony
