Event Description:

Pro-Con Challenge is a new supplemental event created by the National Speech & Debate Association that allows students explore debate topics in an oratorical way showing off their writing, research and delivery skills.

Students are asked to submit a presentation centered around either the 2022 January Public Forum topic (Illicit Drugs), the 2022 January/February Lincoln Douglas topic (Space), or the 2021-2022 NFHS Policy Debate topic (Water Resources). For this tournament, congressional authorship speeches will not be accepted.

Within the presentation, students will have to present both a 3-5 minute affirmative position and a 3-5 minute negative position.
