Event Description:

Maximum 6 Minutes Preparation and Performance Time

Individual event; improvised piece. In the performance room, performers will randomly “draw” three different quotations and choose one to interpret into their performance. The performance should be original and relatable to the audience. Performers should use voice, facial expressions, and body language to establish the purpose of their speech. Performers must stand, but movement is limited to a three-foot space.

Impromptu quotes will be sent out on Thursday, March 4th. The tournament will depend on the individual coaches to uphold the integrity of the event. Choice, prep, and presentation will be shown in the video submission.
