Stephenville Fall Invitational

Stephenville High School proudly invites you and your students to attend our Fall Invitational on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

We will offer both novice and varsity divisions of all UIL Speech and Debate events.

CX Topic: Resolved: The United States federal government should establish national health insurance in the United States.

LD Topic:Resolved: The use of nuclear energy is compatible with environmental stewardship.

Congress Docket: ESC Region 11 UIL Legislation.

JUDGING REQUIREMENTS:

Each school will be required to provide reasonably qualifiedjudges as outlined below:

• CX Debate: One judge for every two teams or portion thereof.
• LD Debate: One judge for every two entries or portion thereof.
• Congress: One judge for every six entries or portion thereof
• Extemp/Interp: One judge for every six entries or portion thereof.

Missing Judge Fee - $150.00 per judge.

CONCESSIONS:

Students may purchase food from the concession stand during breaks. All proceeds go to the SHS Theatre Program.

ENTRY FEES:

Congressional Debate - $20.00 per entry.

CX Debate - $50.00 per team.

LD Debate - $30.00 per entry.

Extemp - $20.00 per entry.

Interp - $20.00 per entry.

School Custodial Fee - $20 per school

All students are welcome to wear costumes. However, please ensure nothing covers the contestants' faces or makes speech difficult to understand.
