THIS EVENT IS LIMITED TO FIRST YEAR STUDENTS ONLY. ALL STUDENTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A LEGALLY-CLEARED CHAPERONE FROM THE DEGREE-GRANTING INSTITUTION THEY ATTEND FULL-TIME (THIS MAY INCLUDE A PARENTAL GUARDIAN IF THE SCHOOL SAYS OKAY).

JUDGE REQUIREMENT: We will be single-flighting the tournament. While the tournament hopes to supplement the judge pool with varsity student judges, due to single-flighting, we also request that teams provide one judge for every three teams entered.

ENTRY FEE: Entry fees, as listed on the Fees page, cover meals for the two debaters. One adult meal pass will be issued for every three teams entered.

TOPIC: NSDA September/October Topic

RULES: We will utilize NSDA Rules with the additional evidence requirements posted on this site. WE WILL ATTEMPT TO POWER ROUNDS THREE AND FOUR - THEY WILL EITHER BE DIRECT POWER OR LAG POWER.

AWARDS: Awards will be given to all undefeated teams at the end of four rounds.
