Congress Dockets

We are breaking the sessions into 1 ½ blocks in order to avoid some of the negatives that might occur if students have to sit for extended periods of time.    We are planning to have experienced Congress students serving as presiding officer and scorer.  We are sure that part of the time in each session will involve the experienced Congress student guiding students through the Congress experience.  The goal is for students to give speeches on the legislation not to go through the legislation as fast as possible.  Each session will have 4-5 pieces of legislation (this means we hope the students can conduct business on each piece of legislation for approximately 15 minutes.  If more than 15 minutes is spent that is great.)  The docket is set below…students may change the order of that docket by suspending the rules.  Walk on legislation or additional legislation from the TFA packet is not allowed to be introduced into these sessions.
