for the 2024 National Tournament

District Audit Procedures

The following procedure will be used for auditing results for our NSDA district tournament (see page 94 in the High School Unified Manual):

1. The primary results of each round will be released to the coach after the conclusion of each round. It is the duty of the coach to review the results in a timely manner and alert the District Committee of any potential errors or violations. Students should not be advised of their rankings.

2. Jan and Lynn Pizzo have volunteered to independently audit results as well in order to ensure there are no violations.

Note: If coaches believe an error has occurred in tabulation, they must first address it with the District Committee in a timely fashion. A timely fashion means within one round (one hour) of the audit being available to coaches. The audit for the final round results will be made available to COACHES before the awards assembly. These are not to be shared with students. No protests regarding tabulation will be permitted after the awards ceremony.

National Qualifiers determined by the national office will be official. If the District Committee erroneously identifies and announce a student is qualified, the student will not be able to keep the qualification spot.
