Tentative Schedule

Everyone gets 3 rounds of competition for their events. Instead of elimination rounds, winners will be determined based on the cumulative rankings/scores of the 3 rounds.

Note: Extemp Draw will be at the round start time, not 30 minutes early, and will be a combination of international and US topics as 1 division of competition. That will allow students to cross-enter in extemp and congress. Extemp Draw will take place in room A107.

Note: Congress sessions will be 80 minutes long so they end before the next round of competition.

Note: Informative is TFA/NSDA-style, not UIL extemp. DI, HI, OO, Congress, Info, and LD will follow TFA-style rules. Prose and Poetry will use the UIL time limits, but will not be limited by the UIL Categories.

Note: LD Debate will use the NSDA/TFA topic, not the UIL spring topic.

Section A: DI, Extemp, HI, OO, Poetry
Section B: Congress, DUI, Impromptu, Informative, LD Debate, Prose

8 am to 9:20 = Section A Round 1
9:30 to 10:50 = Section B Round 1
11:00 to 12:20 = Section A Round 2
12:30 to 1:50 = Section B Round 2
2:00 to 3:20 = Section A Round 3
3:30 to 4:40 = Section B Round 3
