Parking Instructions

Buses should load and unload on Alumni Drive only. After unloading near Lamar Hall, buses should park at the far west end of Jackson Avenue Center parking lot, or in the available areas of the South Lot off Highway 6 and Old Taylor Road. Afterwards, bus drivers can use the O.U.T. bus service free of charge (Bronze Line from JAC or the Gold/SOC line from the South Lot) to go to/from the main campus. Note that these bus lines only operate from 7am to 7pm weekdays.

Groups bringing buses to campus are strongly encouraged to always contact DPT (parking@olemiss.eduor 662-915-7235) prior to arrival so individualized instruction and accommodations can be made.

Individuals not arriving on the buses will need day permits (Monday thru Friday) if parking on campus between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm. Parking permits are not required on non-home football game weekends. Daily Visitor permits can be obtained from the Welcome Center on University Avenue near the Grove, our main parking office, or online fromwww.olemiss.edu/parking.

There is a competing event occurring the evening of Oct. 14^that the Gertrude C Ford Center for the Performing Arts. Please do not park buses in the Ford Center lot on that Saturday.

Buses should remain parked on Alumni Drive for no longer than it takes to safely load and unload.
