JUDGING OBLIGATIONS

Judge Obligations for each event type is below: The following events have entries owed per entry.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS CANNOT JUDGE AT THIS TOURNAMENT AT ALL. If you feel empowered to disobey this mandate, you will lose the amount of entries that your judge represented or pay the uncovered judge fee of $400.00.

Congress: 1 judge per 5 entries (maximum 3 judges). If you have more than 5 entries, you must bring one qualified parliamentarian as part of your judge obligation.

Speech: 1 judge per 6 entries.

California LD and Novice LD: 1 judge per 4 entries. (Connected judge pool)

Parliamentary debate: 1 judge per 3 entries.

Public Forum debate: 1 judge per 3 entries. (Novice and Middle school are a connected judge pool) (TOC Public Forum has a separate pool)

World's School debate: 1 judge per 2 entries.

The following events have entries owed per round.

TOC LD and JV LD: 1 entry owes 3 rounds of judging.

All divisions of Policy debate: 1 entry owes 3 rounds of judging.
