NSDA DISTRICTS SPECIFIC RULES

In terms of voting, our district committee decided on the following:

1. Debate: Speaker Points (full, half, or tenth points)
2. Debate: Round robin, single elimination, or double elimination
3. Debate: Method for breaking ties between alternates - prelim / prior ranks (no runoff for alternates)
4. IEs: # of Prelim rounds - 3
5. IE: # (or percentage) of the field that will clear - at least 25%
   
6. Congress: We will NOT use the student rank option.
