RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Each school will get 18 total entries. Every 6 (or portion there-of) over that number will require a judge. (18 entries - no judge, 19 - one judge, 25 entries - 2 judges)

2. Students may enter in as many events as you are comfortable giving them.

3. Prose and Poetry *MAY* be read. With the exception of a small step for transitions, the performer’s feet shall not move.

5. In extemp prep, we will be following current KSHSAA guidelines regarding the use of Electronic Retrieval Devices. Questions will come from digital and print sources.

6. Medals will be given to the top 6 finalists in each event.

7. Sweepstakes will be determined by your top 18 entries prelim records. Trophies or plaques will be awarded to the top three sweepstakes schools overall.

8. Management reserves the right to handle situations as they may arise to best facilitate student learning.
