SHUTTLE

A yellow bus shuttle will run between the middle school and high school every 30 minutes. NO food or drink allowed on the bus. 

The schedule is as follows: 

Thursday: 7:30 a.m.- 9:30 p.m.

Friday: 7:30 a.m. -10:30 p.m.

Saturday: 7:30 a.m. -7:30 p.m.

Middle School pick-up for Shuttle is located directly outside the front doors of the Middle School.

High School pick-up for Shuttle is located directly behind the cafeteria of the High School.

During the tournament, if you are competing or judging and need to report something to tab (forfeit, locked door, missing judge or competitor after scheduled start time). 

 


 

FINALS DROPS

IE final round drops will be located OUTSIDE in the front of the High School. An announcement will be sent through tabroom.com prior to the drop. Honor Crew will organize a socially-distanced exit of the high school to the front of the school. 

 


 

STUDENT HOLDING AREAS

Cafeteria (located at the end of the High School main hallway on the Buddy Ganem side)

Auxiliary Gym (located in the High School main hallway next to Competition Gym)

Auditorium (No food or drinks allowed)

Refer to maps if more direction is needed.        

There are QR Codes posted all around the High School that will provide you with maps of the campus. High School and Middle School maps may be accessed on tabroom.com.      

 

 


 

EQUITY OFFICER/OMBUDSPERSON’S ROOM AND INFORMATION

The in-person Equity Officer, Kristy Thomas, will be stationed in the library, in room Library D (to the right as you enter). The Ombudsperson, Kandi King, will be online and may be accessed via Zoom from room F106 inside the library. The protest google form will be available on tabroom.com. Please fill out the protest google form and you will receive a prompt response.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

When the Middle School is referred to during this tournament, it is NOT the old middle school located across the street from the High School (that is a vacant building). Any rooms located at the new Middle School will be at 4200 Wildcat Drive. 

 


 

GENDER NEUTRAL BATHROOMS

Gender Neutral Bathrooms are located in front of the Library in the main hallway at the High School and near C131 at the Middle School

 


 

LOST TFA STATE PINS?

If you lose your pin that you were given at registration, there will be extras in the library.

 

 


 

COVID-19 & MEDICAL

A medical professional will be located at the High School in room G106, which is a room in the main hallway in the High School. No COVID-19 testing will be offered and/or administered.

 

TFA is strongly recommending the use of masks throughout the tournament and social distancing when possible.

All event champions and their coaches, top speakers and their coaches, and scholarship winners and their coaches, please join us for a celebration at the Omni Corpus Christi at 900 N. Shoreline Blvd. at 9:00am. We will begin at 9:00am, sharp. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Michelle Cavazos, Superintendent of Schools for Gregory-Portland ISD. The proceedings usually last about 1 ½ hours.
