During Tournament Communication

All Coaches, or other designated school representatives, are expected to be available on GDSDA Slack throughout the tournament. Official tournament communications on debate day will take place via dedicated GDSDA Slack channels for the tournament. Coaches should be checking Slack frequently.

All students must have linked tabroom accounts to receive their round information and other tournament blasts.

Students and judges should email goldendesertsda@gmail.com if there is something amiss within their room (someone missing, an evidence problem, an equity problem, etc.).

All televisions in Squad Rooms will be turned on at the beginning of the tournament and must remain unchanged. These televisions will be the communication means of last resort and must ALWAYS be available to tournament staff to cast information. If tournament staff finds a Squad Room television to be unavailable, Squad Rooms will be visited in person and the team will be fined.
