The 2027 Cupid's Cup Invitational

Welcome to the 2027 Cupid's Cup Invitational presented by CSN Speech and Debate and hosted by Columbia High School. We are excited and honored to host you on our campus on February 5-6th.

On Friday we will offer open divisions for all 14 IHSAA events awarding the top 3 speakers. We will run 3 rounds then a final. Students cannot double enter in 2 draw events. Rounds on Friday will start at 2:30pm.

On Saturday we will offer open divisions of World School’s Debate, Public Forum, and Lincoln Douglas with 4 prelims then a hidden gold/silver round. We will award the top 10 speakers in each debate event along with the gold and silver winners. Rounds on Saturday will start at 8am.

Congressional debate will be offered during this tournament and will serve as the 2027 National Qualifiers for the Idaho Gem of the Mountain. Please view the "Idaho Gem of the Mountain District Tournament" to register your student for congressional debate.

We will award the top 5 schools in an overall sweepstakes. The top school will be the winner of the"Cupid's Cup." We will also award a top squad efficiency award.

A full tournament schedule will be posed when available. Information on this page may be subject to change.

The website will close early if we reach the maximum space allotted to this tournament so early entry is recommended.
