Welcome to our World Schools & LD Debate opener!

The purpose of this tournament is to provide a low-stakes easy introduction for novice debaters, as well as allow varsity students to prepare for the season in Idaho's newest event or in LD.

This tournament will operate slightly differently than most you have or will attend. Friday competition is for varsity students to be judged by novice students. Saturday competition is for novice students to be judged by varsity students. This allows for novices to get to see what their debate format should look like and for varsity to interact with novices and serve as a great example.
