This tournament is designed for first year debaters. The majority of the entry will be kids from South Dakota who are taking an intro to debate class. For most, this will be their first debate experience. We are offering LD and PF using the Nov./Dec topics. PLEASE make sure you have cases ready to go AND you can stay the entire tournament. There will be no sharing cases or asking for cards.

No oral critiques after the debate.

You need to provide a judge to cover an entry. In years past non-South Dakota teams did not provide a judge and that stressed the judge pool. If you do not have a judge on Teams= I will drop you.

Please note there is an entry fee due to rooms being an expense.

We are using NSDA Campus rooms. Please make sure your team knows how to use it.
