We are offering a full schedule of speech and debate events for both novice and varsity students.

GETTING HERE:

We are located at the corner of Overhill and Dale in Stephenville. The address is 2650 W Overhill, Stephenville, TX 76401.

Please park on the east side of the building and enter through the CAFETERIA entrance.

TOPICS:

2025-2026 CX Debate:

Resolved: The United States federal government should significantly increase its exploration and/or development of the Arctic.

Fall UIL LD Debate:

Resolved: In the United States, compulsory national service ought to be valued over personal autonomy.

JUDGING REQUIREMENTS:

Each school will be required to provide reasonably qualified judges as outlined below:

CX Debate: One judge for every two teams or portion thereof.

LD Debate: One judge for every two entries or portion thereof.

Congress: One judge for every six entries or portion thereof

Extemp/Interp: One judge for every six entries or portion thereof.

Missing Judge Fee - $150.00 per judge.

CONCESSIONS:

Students may purchase food from the concession stand during breaks.

CX Debate - $50.00 per team.

LD Debate - $30.00 per entry.

Extemp - $20.00 per entry.

Interp - $20.00 per entry.
