We will offer all 16 OSSAA events in 5A, 6A, and Champs. We will be in-person Friday and Saturday (February 7th and 8th).

FRIDAY MEETING FOR ALL DEBATE COACHES, JUDGES, AND STUDENTS AT 2:45PM IN THE Commons

ROUND 1 PAIRINGS RELEASED AT 3:00 PM FOR ALL DEBATE EVENTS

FRIDAY, OUR ROUND ONE START TIME IS 3:15 PM FOR ALL DEBATE

CHAMPS DEBATE DIVISIONS WILL BE USING THE FEBRUARY TOPIC IN PUBLIC FORUM AND THE JANUARY/FEBRUARY TOPIC IN LINCOLN DOUGLAS. ALL CHAMP PUBLIC FORUM ROUNDS WILL UTILIZE A COIN FLIP.

In 6A Debate and 6A Extemp events, previously qualified students are required to enter the Championship division if both divisions, in that event,  have enough entries to be run separately.

Why should you attend the Gauntlet?

●        Running on time - We are pleased to have a great staff running tab so we will try as much as possible to be on time. We have a reputation for running on time and we will strive very hard to make it happen again.

●        Sweet Judges/Coaches Lounge - We will have great food and drinks available and a nice large central location to sit and relax. Catering TBD.

●        Concession stand – Since 2013, we have perfected our concession stand. Come and see it!

●        Pizza delivered regularly- Friday night and Saturday during lunch, we will have pizza delivered! We ask that food NOT be delivered, as is campus policy.

●        Customized Trophies and Medals - We will have customized medals for placing competitors in Qualifying Divisions and certificates for students placing in Champs.

●        Hired Judging - In addition to the wonderful judges that schools provide, we are looking for excellent policy, public forum, drama and LD judges with proven experience. We are offering $15 a round for qualified judges. Please email aglendinning@crossingsschool.org if interested. 

●       Internet Access –     WE HAVE WIFI!!! The network is CCS-Guest and the Passwords is ro\\knightsro\\. We will have paper postings as well. We will also have computers available for those judges who need a device to input their ballots. ALL ballots will be online via Tabroom. Please make sure that your judges and competitors have tabroom accounts and are linked.
