MCCRACKEN’S LAST CUP OF COFFEE….IS FOR CLOSERS

Kelly McCracken, and the whole Hornet Family invite you and your team to attend a 5a 6a CH tournament at BTW. Please see the OSSAA manual for rules, entry fees, and judge fees. If any entries in a particular event for your school exceed 10 please let us know in advance. This is the first tournament of the second semester and it should be a hoot.

There will be a concession stand for competitors and a judge’s lounge for judges, coaches, and drivers.

Debate check-in will start Friday in Historical Building on the south end of campus at 3:00. We get out of school at 3:35. First rounds will start at 4:00 but we will build in an extra 15 minutes to make sure everything gets going so we can stay on schedule. There will only be 3 Friday prelim rounds due to our late start. We will break all 2-1 records.

Friday Schedule:

4:15-6:00, Rd 1

6:00-7:30, Rd 2

7:30-9:00, Rd 3

Saturday rounds will start at 8:30AM.

****Note for CX teams. BTW has zero built-in former cx judges. As a result, any team that cannot meet its cx judging requirement may have their entries reduced to insure a smooth Friday night. We don’t want the tournament held hostage by a lack of cx judges. Please help us out, ya know, or don’t.****

The tournament is on tabroom, duh. WE WILL BE USING ONLINE BALLOTS. ALL JUDGES NEED A LAPTOP AND A TABROOM ACCOUNT. BTW has pretty good internet and open visitor access.

**Any school that is a member of the Tulsa Debate League will receive reduced entry fees, please contact us separately so we can coordinate this for each school. **
