We are thrilled to extend a cordial invitation to your esteemed debate team to participate in the upcoming Timberline High School Debate Tournament! This event promises to be a dynamic showcase of intellect, eloquence, and strategic thinking.

On Friday we will hold 3 rounds of speech with awards based on performance in those rounds. We will not hold finals in speech this weekend. Students may enter in up to 2 events so long as they are not entered into a draw event (Extemp, Radio, Retold, Panel). Students who double enter do so at their own risk.

On Saturday we will hold 4 preliminary debate rounds and then elimination rounds. Both Novice and Open Divisions will be held in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate, Policy Debate, and Congressional Debate.Any event with less than 8 entries as of noon on Jan 8 may be cancelled. In the event of low registration numbers divisions may be collapsed to a single open division. Lincoln Douglas Debate and Public Forum Debate will break to a semifinal round. Policy Debate will break directly to a final round.
