The North American Debate Circuit cordially invites you to our free 2023 International Outreach Event! Regardless of your debate background, all are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Wanting to step outside your comfort zone? Wanting to learn more types of debate? Or are you just looking for more competition? Whatever your interest may be, the NADC is hosting our free 2023 International Outreach Event, designed to improve accessibility, spread awareness about debate, meet teams from across the globe, and most importantly have some fun debating.

What: Our Free Outreach Cup, formerly Emerald Cup, is an international, World Schools styled debate tournament. Even if you've never debated World Schools before, we highly recommend trying it out. It is a very easy category to learn the rules of, and it relies less on long research and more on extemporaneous argumentation!

When: The Outreach Cup will take place on two nights of two days, beginning at 7PM EST on Friday with 2 rounds of debate, followed by another 2 rounds of debate starting at 7PM EST on Saturday. This is to accommodate all teams from around the world!

Where: Online, using NSDA Campus

Who: Anyone and everyone!

Cost: Free!

Judging: You must supply your own judge (if needed, you may email us regarding a judge hire)

Divisions: MS and HS

Prizes: The winners of the HS and MS divisions will win $200 and $100, respectively.
