Hello all,

Welcome to the District 7/8 State Qualifying tournament Tabroom page. Please make sure you review the OSAA Speech & Debate Handbook so that you are up to speed on all of the rules and guidelines for all of the events and the way that the tournament will be run, including the number of entries each school is allowed. Each school can enter up to 29 students in IE events, 3 per IE event, and up to 3 per debate event (entry limits for IEs are separate from debate entry limits). Please encourage as many students as you can to compete; the more entries we have means the more we can send to state for our district.

This year's tournament will take place over several stages:

* debate events will be held IN PERSON at St. Mary's School on the afternoon of Friday, 3/17
* speech events will be held ONLINE all day on Saturday, 3/18 (NSDA Campus)
* Congress will be held IN PERSON at St. Mary's School on the afternoon of Wednesday, 4/5

Debate Rd 1 - 4:30-6:00 PM

Debate Rd 2 - 6:00-7:30 PM

Debate Rd 3 - 7:30-9:00 PM

Saturday- 3/18

Registration & Judge Training- 8:00 AM

Speech Rd 1 - 8:30-9:45 AM

Speech Rd 2 - 9:45-11:00 AM

Speech Rd 3 - 11:00- 12:45 PM

Mystery Rd - 12:45 PM-2:00 PM

Awards - 2:00 PM
