Entry: Entries should be made through Tabroom.com. Entries are due by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 10. Drops, adds and changes made after 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 10 will incur nuisance fees.

Classes: 5A, 6A, and CHAMPS

Event Entries are due by 5:00PM Tuesday, January 10 2023. For changes after 5:00PM Tuesday, January 10, email the director.

Judge Entries are due by 5:00PM Wednesday, January 11 2023.

Fees:

Entry fees: $10 per team debate entry, $5 per Lincoln Douglas entry, $8 per Duet or Duo entry, $4 each for all other entries.

Please refer to the OSSAA manual for nuisance fees.

Judges: All debate judges should be entered in the appropriate judge group (CX or LD/PF) even if they are also available to judge speech. All non-debate judges should be entered in the speech judge group.

When entering judges, you may specify “No Friday” or “No Saturday” to indicate that a judge will not be available that day. If judges have more specific availability issues (ie; Only available for rounds 2 and 3 on Friday, Only available till noon on Saturdy) please let the director know through e-mail.

Judge requirements:

Per the OSSAA manual are:

1 judge per 2 CX entries or portion thereof

1 judge per 4 LD/PF entries or portion thereof

1 judge per 12 speech/acting entries or portion thereof.

Debate Topics: All debate Divisions will use current NSDA Resolutions.

Upon Arrival Friday: On Friday, please enter the PAAC main entrance on the North side of campus. On Friday, Buses should park in the North parking lot in the front of the PAAC. Friday Registration will be in the PAAC Auditorium.

Friday debate rounds (3) will run at 4:00, 5:45, and 7:30. On Friday, wait in the PAAC Auditorium until released to the cafeteria at 3:30.

If you plan to arrive before 2:00 PM, please email the director. mattcheek@dcsok.org. School gets out at 3:15 PM and traffic exiting the parking lots is hectic so please try to arrive by 2:45 PM or after 3:30 PM if you are going to be later.

At 3:30, students will move to the Central Cafeteria which will be the central hangout area for the tournament.

Upon Arrival Saturday: On Saturday, please enter through the main south doors of the central building (Off of 206 th ) into the cafeteria. On Saturday, buses should park in the PAAC Parking Lot.

Saturday Registration will be in the Main School Lobby.

Saturday rounds will begin at 8:00. Please try to have students and judges present with enough time to spare so that the 8:00 round can start on time.

Extemp Draw will be in the student center.

All rounds will be in the Central and FA Buildings. Students and guests should not enter any other campus buildings.

A full concession stand will be available on both Friday and Saturday, with hot lunch(Saturday) and dinner(Friday)options (probably pizza) available. There are no stores or restaurants within walking distance of the school.
