We are pleased that we are a qualifying tournament for the University of Kentucky Tournament of Champions in all twelve events they host. Speech students may also earn bids to the NIETOC. Extempers can earn bids to the Extemp TOC.

We plan to offer 6 preliminary rounds of debate in Novice and Varsity divisions of Policy, LD and PF. We offer 3 two-hour preliminary sessions in Congress. Additionally, we will offer 4 preliminary rounds in all Speech events. Speech competitors can enter up to 3 events within the speech category, but NO TRIPLE entry WITHIN a pattern.

We will tabulate all events on tabroom.com. All postings will be available online and emails/texts will be blasted. All contestants ought to have linked tabroom.com accounts to receive tournament info.

Judges MUST have linked tabroom.com accounts to ALSO access online ballots.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

THIS IS AN INTERSCHOLASTIC SPEECH AND DEBATE COMPETITION- As such we host accredited school-based teams run by school personnel. We do not include clubs or any other nature of independent entries.  Entries that are not sanctioned by their school are invalid and will be removed from the tournament.  Additionally, the tournament does not accept entries from students not currently enrolled in the ninth-twelfth grade. No hybrid entries are accepted.

The manner in which the waitlist will be handled is at the discretion of the tournament director.
